Meet Dr Niroshi
Dr Niroshi Susiriwardana has over 20 years of experience in the medical field, practising in multiple disciplines. She practised as a rural generalist in regional Western Australia for 6 years working extensively in general practice, anaesthetics, emergency medicine, outback clinic visits, and inpatient care gaining rich knowledge and expertise. She is a fellow of RACGP and gained her medical cosmetic training in Australia under the guidance of experienced physicians practising cosmetics.
She graduated and worked extensively in the fields of general medicine and surgery, paediatrics and anaesthesia and general practice in Sri Lanka for ten years before moving to Australia.

MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a cosmetic procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles.
Multiple minute injuries result in skin starting a healing process where new collagen is made restoring skin to improve the tone, texture, and overall complexion of your skin. Microneedling treatment can be combined with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) to achieve more stunning results than it is alone. This treatment can be performed on the face, neck, decollate, and on other areas such as the stomach and thighs to improve the appearance of stretch marks.
It is performed after applying a topical local anaesthetic.

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP) THERAPY
Over time, the human skin’s ability to regenerate reduces with aging due to reduced production and availability of the body’s natural growth chemicals (Growth Factors). Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a product obtained from your own blood. PRP carries a concentrated amount of these Growth Factors. Therefore, PRP is a way of introducing growth factors directly back into the skin. PRP injection results in regeneration of skin with increased volume, elasticity and firm/tight skin that looks much younger. It's a much more natural procedure and utilizes your own healing potential from your platelets.
This therapy can be done on your face, neck, hands, and scalp. During the healing process, the platelets are activated to enhance tissue regeneration by creating new collagen.
In addition to skin, PRP therapy is also effective in treating some forms of arthritis, tendinitis and sports injuries as well as difficult to heal chronic wounds.
PRP Treatment process
A small blood sample is collected, like during a routine blood test, into a special tube and centrifuged. Centrifuging (spinning at high speed) separates the plasma component from the red blood cells. The plasma is rich in platelets which contain natural Growth Factors is then administered into the skin. The treating area of skin is made numb so that you feel minimal or no pain during treatment. This will help stimulate the growth of new cells and regeneration naturally.

How soon you will see the results?
Results will start to be visible after 1-2 weeks post-treatment, but it takes at least 4-6 weeks for it to be more prominent after your skin healing process becomes well established. Duration, of course, depends more on one's initial skin condition and other co-existing conditions. Therefore, for more serious skin conditions, it may require more than one treatment for the results to be obvious on a regular interval.

ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
It is a normal phenomenon to get wrinkles in aging skin due to contraction of underlying facial muscles along with lax skin of aging. There are two types of wrinkles; static and dynamic wrinkles. Static wrinkles are the ones that persist both during rest and during facial expressions like smiling, talking, etc. Dynamic wrinkles are the ones appear transiently during facial expressions. Both these wrinkles are mostly caused by those facial muscles responsible for facial movements for expression.

CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels can be used for skin conditioning at any age and are a treatment for skin conditions such as
Chemical peels act by peeling off the dead superficial layers of the skin to expose the new and fresh-looking healthy skin. It helps to regenerate the epidermis of the skin and to improve collagen and elastin organization in the dermis of the skin.

The face will be cleansed, and a controlled amount of chemical peel will be applied according to your requirement. You might feel mild irritation and slight redness for a short while after treatment

HYPERHIDROSIS THERAPY
Sweating is the body's normal mechanism to get rid of excess heat, but some people produce more sweat than is needed for cooling - called hyperhidrosis. This condition affects about 2-3 % of the population. Hyperhidrosis can be troublesome in some individuals causing irritation and sometimes social problems.
Injections to the affected area is a proven and safe method of treating hyperhidrosis. Results start to be noticeable approximately 2 to 4 days after treatment with the full effects are usually noted within 2 weeks. Dryness typically lasts 4 to 12 months.
SInjections do not cure hyperhidrosis; excessive sweating will go away gradually (usually in about a week) and return gradually. Therefore, follow-up injections are required to maintain dryness. These repeat injections may be necessary at intervals varying from 7 to 16 months depending on individual response. With repeated therapy, it is known that the results tend to last longer.
